Terms of service

Last updated: August 7, 2026

The service

Rustle produces source-linked research reports from sampled public online conversations. Reports are research aids, not guarantees of market demand or professional legal, financial, or medical advice.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for your account and may not use Rustle to break laws, violate platform rights, harm others, or attempt unauthorized access to the service.

Billing standards and billing cycle

Rustle is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The price, currency, taxes (if any), and payment provider are displayed before checkout. Each successful payment adds one search credit to your account, and each credit creates one research report. There is no recurring billing cycle or automatic renewal. Payment processing is also subject to the payment provider's terms.

Refund policy

If a research task still cannot be completed after its automatic retry, the consumed search credit is immediately restored to your account for reuse. For duplicate charges, successful payments that do not add a search credit, or other cases where a refund is required by law, email the payment receipt within 14 days to difficultburger@gmail.com for review. Completed reports and successfully used search credits are final because the digital research service has already been performed. This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Rustle is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement. Reports are generated from sampled public conversations and may be incomplete, outdated, biased, or incorrect. You must verify important claims using the linked sources before relying on a report.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of Rustle. The operator's total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid to Rustle in the 12 months before the event giving rise to that claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or gross negligence where applicable.

Term and termination

These terms apply while you access or use Rustle. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, cancel unused credits obtained through abuse, or restrict an account if we reasonably believe it has violated these terms, applicable law, platform rights, payment rules, or the security of Rustle or another person. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the violation. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payments, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, will survive.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to a court with jurisdiction where the operator is registered. This section does not remove any mandatory consumer protection or forum rights available to you under applicable law.
